Set during the 1988 Olympics, Notes for Monday follows three days in the life of Tommy McBeath, an opinionated “old school” lawyer. Tommy’s attempts to prepare a speech for his retirement celebration are continually sidelined by his rants and tangents, and by his ailing wife Vera.
